SHIPPING AND HANDLING POLICY
DELIVERY OPTIONS
All our items and product deliveries will be fulfilled by our shipping partners – G4S. Two shipping options will be available at checkout.
1. Home Delivery – The ordered and paid for items/products can will be delivered to the final customer location given on the shipping and billing address. Please note that this will ONLY BE AVAILABLE IF THE SHIPPING ADDRESS IS A QUALIFIED STREET ADDRESS WITH A BUILDING NUMBER. Furthermore, the address should not be more than 20km from the nearest G4S collection point. We reserve the right to accept or reject home deliveries to any and particular addresses. It will also be required that someone be available to collect the packages and sign off the delivery.
2. Delivery to a G4S collection point – The ordered items will be delivered to a G4S collection point which will be selected at checkout. You can view the full list of G4S collection points here. The customer will then be notified once the collection is at the collection station and will be expected to collect the package(s) within 24 Hours.
3. In-Store Pick-Up – A Customer may choose to make a purchase placed online available for pickup at our main store at Oilibya Plaza, Muthaiga. If you wish to pick up your purchase, we will contact you via phone or email when your product is ready for collection
PACKAGE INSPECTION
At the time of delivery, the driver/collection point agent will require that you inspect the condition of the shipment and sign the delivery receipt. Be sure to note on the receipt ANY and ALL visible damage to the packaging of your item(s). Noting the condition of the delivery is the responsibility of the customer – not the driver. If the carrier is unable to contact the customer, the customer will then be responsible for any storage fees or freight charges back to the Seller (Lighting Solutions Limited). SHIPPING LEAD TIMES
Lighting Solutions Limited will strive to fulfill all orders within 48 Hours from the time the payment confirmation of an order was received. This lead time of 48 Hours applies to most (but not all) deliveries within the country and is an estimate only. This time is estimated based on the assumption that the item in question is currently in stock and that the delivery fulfillment with our shipping partners proceeds as scheduled.
If your purchase or project is time sensitive, it is strongly suggested that you contact a store associate at Lighting Solutions Limited using the customer care numbers listed to inquire about expedited shipping services (Which may attract further charges).
Lighting Solutions Limited will not be responsible for any costs associated with shipment delays. We strongly suggest that any professional services required to install your product(s) not be scheduled until your order has arrived and been inspected.
